OUR STORY

We started Fabla to open every door to language learning

Fabla was born from a simple but urgent question: what if language fluency could fit into any schedule and any budget? Our CEO, Sammy Carbajal, grew up in Latin America and spent years juggling studies and multiple jobs while relocating across countries for new opportunities, leaving little time or money to master English and German. He built Fabla as his personal coach, then realised millions faced the same barriers. Instead of keeping it to himself, Sammy teamed up with fellow Latin American founders Jaqueline Torres and Juan Carlos Carbajal—each of whom had to learn new languages quickly as they moved for studies and work—to share Fabla with everyone and make inclusive language learning a reality.

Our Mission

We empower learners everywhere with AI-guided practice, culturally aware content, and focused feedback so they can master new languages efficiently without sacrificing time or money.

Our Vision

We imagine a future where language walls disappear for people across the globe—Fabla delivers inclusive, high-impact learning that helps everyone communicate with confidence.

FOUNDERS

Meet the team behind Fabla

Three Latin American founders who have repeatedly uprooted their lives for studies and work joined forces to make language learning more human. After being forced to master new languages quickly in every new country, they blend personal experience, pedagogy, and engineering to deliver an app built for everyday learners facing the same urgency.

Co-founder & CEO

Born in Latin America and constantly relocating for work and scholarships, Sammy juggled multiple jobs and studies while racing to learn new languages in every country he landed. Determined to master English and German on a tight schedule and budget, he designed Fabla as his personal tutor—flexible, affordable, and always available. When he saw how powerful it was, he asked: why not share this with everyone? That question sparked Fabla's mission to make multilingual learning inclusive for all.
